HELLO.
I’m Blair- A creative marketer and sustainable fashion advocate! My career thus far has allowed me to explore the exciting intersection of creativity and business. With a strong foundation in marketing, communications, and a keen eye for design, I am driven to contribute to initiatives making a positive impact. I have a deep interest in sustainable fashion and its potential to revolutionize the industry by merging style and ethical practices.
Below you can find more info about my different interests and areas of expertise.
-
I became involved with the sustainable fashion industry in 2019 when I joined the Rent the Runway College Ambassador team. In that role, I organized campus events aimed at educating the campus community about sustainable fashion principles and fostering awareness of ethical fashion practices.
Since then, I became involved with multiple non-profits centered around sustainable fashion. I worked on the PR team at Collective Fashion Justice, handling endorser research and outreach for upcoming and ongoing campaigns. Additionally, I served as a Communications Specialist at The Fashion Connection, supporting the Communications Director with research and writing projects, content planning, and podcast management. Because of these roles and my passion for sustainable fashion, I stayed up-to-date on key events and topics within sustainable fashion.
Alongside my work in the sustainable fashion industry, I also ran an online clothing resale shop, where I promoted circular fashion and showcased my style and love for vintage clothing.

Within my marketing career, I’ve worked in multiple different areas, spanning my knowledge from non-profits and advocacy groups to interior design and sustainable fashion.
I graduated from College of Charleston with a B.S. in Marketing, primarily focusing on branding and brand management. Before graduating from CofC I completed 3 internships, all within different areas of marketing. I highly value hands-on experience and contribute that to my success in both my studies and within my career.
After college, I officially began my marketing career working for a digital marketing agency in their brands and non-profits department. In this role, some of my primary responsibilities included branding projects (a personal favorite!), social media management, and assisting with paid advertising efforts. This role required me to build strong client relationships and work internally across different creative teams.

I graduated college with a minor in Studio Art, with a focus on Photography. I studied both film photography, as well as digital, gaining valuable technical skills along the way, including hands-on experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, so being able to integrate this into my college education was very important to me. As a result, the skills I picked up in my Studio Art studies have proven to be incredibly versatile in my role as a creative marketer. I not only strengthened my photography skills but fine-tuned my eye for visual arts, which has been very useful in providing creative direction and creating eye-catching graphics.
Here you can view some of my photography - film and digital.

My experience in managing complex website development projects has equipped me with strong problem-solving, project management, and time management skills. In my past role as a Website PM, I continuously balanced multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing them from ideation to completion.
Here is a list of website projects that I worked on.
Additionally, I am proficient in Figma- utilizing the platform to create sitemaps, wireframes and to contribute to the design process.
